Company History

Lambourn Carpet Company, as it was formally know, was started by Brian Blackbourn many years ago. With Brian’s staggering 46 years in the trade and a portfolio of installations across, not only the country but Europe, he naturally wanted to pass on his skills and wisdom of the flooring & interiors trade. Luckily Matt and Johnny, Brian’s sons were eager to carry on the family business.

Matt became a master fitter in many flooring disciplines very quickly and to add to his skills, a flooring instructor at the age of 28. Therefore he is naturally talented at installing a vast array of quality products with difficult laying patterns but also training apprentice for the future of Lambourn.

Johnny took a similar route when he joined the business and has been trained by his dad and brother. But quickly found himself excelling in the showrooms and site surveying roll.

With all the rolls filled that are needed to grow a successful business Matt and Johnny decided to rename the company – Lambourn Flooring & Interiors. A tribute to the old and modern look for the future.

Lambourn is now leading the way in the flooring industry with their modern products, eye for quality, highly skilled installation team, but most importantly inspiration for designing and making customers ideas reality.

Our team of Master Fitters are fully qualified and trained, they are constantly trained in the latest techniques while getting the chance to work with the newest products on the market.
